The liability of architects and engineers, as

cranes, and other structures is a complex and often technical
area of the law requiring knowledge of construction practices,
engineering, design and the unique nature of the contractual
allocation of liability among the parties. The firm has gained
extensive experience in representing architects, engineers,
and builders in the industry.
Recently, the firm represented the project engineers
for the purchaser of a $10 million ship unloading crane which
collapsed into the Mississippi River, sinking a barge, injuring
and killing several persons, and shutting down a manufacturing
plant. The firm has represented numerous other builders and
designers, both as plaintiffs and defendants.
The firm has also represented parties
in a negotiation of contracts for the design and/or construction
of buildings and other structures and is familiar with AIA
documents that are often utilized.
No representation is made that the quality
of the legal services to be performed is greater than the quality
of legal services performed by other lawyers.
